Nvidia Market Cap Threatens Google Parent Alphabet After Overtaking Amazon

Nvidia came close to overtaking Google parent Alphabet on Tuesday as Wall Street's third most valuable company. The chipmaker overtook Amazon for the first time in two decades, with a higher market capitalisation than the US e-commerce giant. Nvidia has benefitted the most amid an ongoing race among technology companies to build AI into their products and services.
