Australia Says Tougher Laws Needed to Regulate AI, Considers Banning Deepfakes
Australia said that it is planning to further regulate the use of artificial intelligence in the country. It is also considering a potential ban on deepfakes and realistic-looking but false content, amid concerns the technology could be misused.
