Apple’s Make in India Plan Hits Hurdles as Tata Casings Factory Struggles to Meet Quality Standards: Report
Apple’s plan to expand production in India has hit snags as the tech giant is facing challenges in logistics, tariffs and infrastructure, a report said. Additionally, according to the report, only about half of the components from the production line at a casings factory run by Tata Group are in good enough shape to be sent to Apple supplier Foxconn.
