Telegram Hit With $5 Million Fine Over Failure to Comply With German Law: All Details
Telegram has been hit with a EUR 5.125 million (roughly Rs. 41 crore) fine in Germany, according to the Federal Office of Justice. The messaging service failed to comply with German law that requires apps to establish a lawful way for reporting illegal content and name an entity in Germany to receive official communication.
