Apple AirPods Could Adjust Audio if Hazard Detected, New Patent Suggests
Apple AirPods with a new safety feature may be in the works. AirPods may switch off the music or lower audio when hazards are detected nearby, a patent application filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has indicated. As per the patent filing, AirPods will use the wearer's GPS data and activity to adjust or pause sound and provide alerts.
