Facebook Accounts Removed in Philippines Ahead of Elections to Curb Misinformation: Meta
Meta has removed Facebook accounts, pages, and groups in the Philippines due to concerns regarding spread of hate speech and misinformation. It also stated that advertisers would have to include 'Paid for by' disclaimers in ads related to the election.
