Pegasus Scandal: NSO Says Israeli Police Was Sold 'Weaker' Variant of Phone Hacking Tool Than Export Version

Israeli spyware firm NSO Group that created and sold Pegasus phone hacking tool said on Tuesday it had sold the country's police a variant that can access local cellphones but described it as being "weaker" than the export version.
