Ghana’s Central Bank Says Its Digital Currency ‘eCedi’ is Aimed at Financial Inclusion

The central bank of Ghana has presented details of its planned ‘eCedi’ digital currency to the government. The main focus has been kept on making the usage of eCedi inclusive for those Ghanians who are neither connected to the national banking system nor have access to the Internet.
