Bitcoin Ban Stamped Out of EU’s Crypto-Centric MiCA Bill, Emphasis Laid on Green Mining

The Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee of the EU has squashed BTC banning proposal, replacing it with another idea. The committee has suggested to make Bitcoin mining easier on the environment. The bill awaits approvals from EU’s executive arm and member states to become a law.
