Crypto Mining in Texas May Demand 5 Times More Electricity by 2023, ERCOT Predicts
The already overloaded power grid of US’ Texas state may have to bear the weight of 5,000MW of extra energy as Bitcoin mining activities are picking pace in the region. Residents are worried of more power outages and blackouts.
